CHANGED ON THE INSIDE
In February, 2012, Karen Burkhart was commissioned by Film Producer, Steve Puffenberger, of Advent Media in Columbus, Ohio, to write a theme song for a documentary about three inmates who have become followers of Jesus Christ while behind bars in Marion, Ohio. Together with Karen’s Producer, Felix Weber, Changed on the Inside was born and inspired the title of the film. The film debuted on March, 31, 2012, at the Historic Alex Theater in Glendale, CA during the 10th Annual 168 Film Festival. The 168 Hour Film Project is a competition where producers have 168 hours (1 week) to film and edit an 11-minute movie based on a theme and a Bible verse. Changed on the Inside, the film, was nominated for two awards, and ultimately took home “Best Documentary”. On July 6th, 2012, Karen will debut the song LIVE on Canada’s Premier Christian Television program, 100 Huntley Street, that reaches virtually every Canadian home and can be seen via Satellite around the world. This inspirational film can be viewed at www.changedontheinside.com and the song will be available for download SOON.
